Delhi-NCR’s top schools receive bomb threats; students evacuated, bomb disposal squads take charge

New Delhi, May 01 (ANI): Multiple schools across the Delhi-NCR received bomb threats on May 01 via e-mail. Bomb detection teams and Delhi Fire Service officials have been rushed to the schools. Several schools vacated and students were evacuated following the bomb threat mails. The schools include DPS Dwarka, DPS Noida, Sanskriti School Chanakyapuri, and Mother Mary School, Mayur Vihar. Delhi Police said that the mail is being traced and appealed to students, parents “not to panic”. School authorities also quickly responded and sent the students back to their homes. Fire Officer JB Singh reached Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar and said that the teams did not find anything.
